A regular Board meeting was held, November 10, 2004, at the residence of Doris Livezey.
Attendees: Trixie Johnson, Bob Fanjoy, Larry Murchan, Doris Livezey, Steve Chell, Judy Boehm and Mori Mandis.

  1. Meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by President Steve Chell.
  2. Old Business
    1. Traffic Committee Update: Proposal of signs for a passenger loading zone with specific hours has been recommended. Recommendation: two signs posted on existing poles on Wunderlich Drive on park side. Signs to say School Loading Zone, 7-8am, 2-3pm, On day’s school is in session. Painting red on corners of Wunderlich and Castle Glen and Wunderlich and Ora streets. Parents continuing to park on curves endangering children.
    2. Treasurer’s Report: 53 members and sponsors total: $831.00. Paid $37.00 for mailing to owners of rentals in area.
    3. Request committee chairs to attend board meetings. New chairs:
      1. Emergency Preparedness: Tom and Mary Carson
      2. Dumpster Days: Bob Rolufs
      3. Hospitality: Cheryl Pace and Edee Miyahara
      4. Web-site: Siggy Illes
      5. Newsletter: Suzanne Malone
    4. Membership Campaign Strategies: Sponsorship letter available to send out to prospective sponsor members of MNA. Board and committee chairs asked help bring in one new member each general meeting. Send information in joining by e-mail to those who have not joined. Having a street only names membership contest, showing how many members per street. Information on the web with tally numbers.
    5. Web-site: want to start calendar with events in area such as Dilworth, Murdock-Portal, Miller and Lynbrook happenings. Photos of holiday lights: Festival of Lights and Christmas displays.

      NOTE: General Meetings to be held on the 4th Wednesday, Quarterly. Year 2005 dates: January 26, April 27, July 23 (exception for Saturday picnic), October 26. Board Meetings to be held monthly on the 2nd Wednesday.
  3. Meeting adjourned at 9:55 p.m. Next Board meeting on December 8, residence of Steve Chell at 7:30pm.
